The era of "anthropogenic", not geological, the man-made has already started and still have time to tell it. I speak not as fatalistic, but as an unfortunate reality that we see daily. This issue is being monitored by several scientists worldwide and clean seas is the responsibility of each person on the planet. We collect 1 ton of plastic garbage - 100 000 000 tons of plastic garbage is produced in the same time.
The only way to safe the Planet is to work on a Goverment level so only fast biodegradable bags,bottles etc. must be produced.
